Problem:
On rare occasions I find myself requiring a 12 volt power supply. Most
of the time I need power for my
video
camera and did not find running a power cord down the side of the
bike to the BMW Powerlet was a clean and safe option.
Solution:
While I had the bike stripped down installing my other accessories, it
was easy to run a 12 volt power lead. I used a standard 12 volt
quick-disconnect from Kragen Auto Parts. The power lead is feed from the
Blue Sea power box. This auxiliary
power plugs right into my
custom
power cable for my video camera and also provides power for my
Map Light addition.
