Problem:
How to mount (permanently) all my goodies such as my
XM antenna,
GPS antenna,
Video camera and
12v accessory power plug and at
the same time maintain the clean and crisp lines of the RT.
My Solution:
A BMR Shelf - of course. :) I installed a BMR Co-Pilot Shelf to hold my farkles in a
clean and professional manor. I went through many different
configurations and using different accessory arms and mounting gadgets
different places. Since my GPS is mounted below, I have many more
options on what to put in the middle shelf. My
video camera came to be the best
choice.

The mounting was simply and I followed the BMR
instructions to the letter. No drilling was required. A huge benifit from using the BMR shelf is that it provides a shaded area and
protection from the SUN (and rain) for the gauges.
BMR Co-Pilot Shelf
Part number: Co-Pilot Shelf - R1200RT
Note: Do not forget
to order extra accessory arms. It is nice to have extra arms when trying
to decide how to mount something on the weekend and not having to wait a
week to receive a $10 part. You can always return extra parts as I did.
